This was a project that artist Josh Kline contracted Direct Dimensions to produce. They are an exploration of the volatile job market and a physical respresentation of "discarded" workers, as they appear curled up in the fetal position in a trash bag.
I and other DDI modelers worked with Kline to produce 3D files that could be printed and assembled as the final sculptures. This process required carefully separating elements of each body so they could be assembled into the final sculpture (a mixture of milled plaster and color powder prints).
